Near Complete Wireless Set No 38

A near complete British WW2 Wireless Set No. 38 Mk.II. The W.S.38 was a short range manpack tranceiver with a range up to 2 miles with full antenna.  It operated on 7.4-9.2 Mhz so it could operate against the 18 Set and other 38 Sets to provide radio communication between infantry platoons and Co. HQ. The 38 Set comes with a lot of hard to find original accessories: the junction box and cable; original carrying frame; headset and throat microphone; special haversack for carrying the battery complete with carrying hook attachment; spares box with valves in a "Satchel Signals" and complete antenna in carrier. 

Please note that due to the length, the antenna will have to be shipped separately from the rest of  the set.
