In our fifth week of coronavirus lockdown but there are some signs that things might get moving again. Our local post office has reopened and the post is accepting shipments, albeit with restriction up to 15 Kg and 1m length. There are also delays to be expected. I have sent out one "test" parcel so I can monitor how it progresses through the system. The main problem I had was that I could not insure the shipment, it appears that the post does not want to accept liability for lost parcels at the moment. So I should be able to send relatively low value items with some confidence before long while for the higher value items I will need to get some clarification on the insurance issue.
