German Luftwaffe L.Kp.N.101 summer flying helmet

A German Luftwaffe L.Kp.N.101 summer flying helmet as used by Luftwaffe fighter pilots. I believe this to be a relatively late example using the three letter code for the manufacturere and with a shortened intercom lead; these were introduced to prevent broken necks due to snagged cables.when the Luftwaffe started using ejection seats on some aircraft types. Used example with some small wear and tear. The internal tag is present with "hdc" maker markings for Siemens Luftfahrt Gerätewerk Hakenfelde.
