Dutch army officers "Buitenmodel" tunic and trousers

this is a pre-1940 Dutch officer's "Buitenmodel" (private purchase) tunic and trousers for a 1st Luitenant in the anti aircraft artillery. Anti aicraft batteries played a significant role in defending against the German airborne assaults on the Netherelands, inflicting heavy casualties in may 1940. This uniform was obtained from the veteran by my brother in the late 1960's and has remained in the colletion ever since. Both the tunic and trousers are red piped denoting artillery, the propeller behind the crossed cannons on the collar denotes anti-aircraft. The tunic has some staining from storage and some minor moth damage
