A US army folding shovel in a OD#7 carryer. The US logo on the outside is somewhat faded by still clearly legible. Maker marked and dated 1944 on the inside of the flap of the holder. The shovel itself is well used with much of the paint worn off the handle. Another part of the OD#7 set, ideal for a 17th airborne setup
