German Luftwaffe AdB16ya control unit for the FuG16zy radio

This is the pilot's control Adb18ya control box for the FuG16zy radio installation. This box was fitted in the cockpit and operated the main modes of the radio installation. The pilot's flying helmet was connected via a rubber lead to the box, a volume control on the box regulates the volume of the radio. The switch on the Adb18ya box activates either the direction finding unit or the "y" radio location system (coded in green and red lettering in accordance with the channels on the channel selector). The box is in good worn condition with some wear and tear and should be in servicable condition.
