This is a British RAF pneumatically driven artificial horizon which could be found in many aircraft types. It has a 6A/1498 equipment code and has a 1944 manufacturing code. Good condition. It has been some years but I used to run this horizon off an old vacuum cleaner motor so I expect it to run without problems.
