This is an electrical heater as used in radio vehicles and unheated buildings. These types of heaters were used for the comfort of the troops manning the radio stations around the clock in unheated buildings or radio vehicles during winter. They could be powered from a generator placed outside the building or directly from the mains voltage if available. Maker marked and 1941 dated.
