A US Air Force BC-459-A AN/ARC-5 command set transitter as used on heavy bombers such as the B-17, B-24 etc. The complete command set consisted of three receivers and two transmitters, they were placed on the radio operator's bulkhead and remote operated by the pilot. The transmitter is in good condition, valves are missing.
