A wehrmacht battery box for optics reticle lights. These were used with various optics including the MGZ34 and 40 Machine gun optics. The box would contain three 4,5 Volt flashlight batteries, the reticle light cable would plug into the side of the box. This is a tan painted version in near mint condition. Clearly maker and Wa.A stamped.
