M2 knife Schrade Walden ca. 1947

A good condition Schrade Walden M2 paratrooper flick knife. Although described as WW2 in many sources these are actually just postwar, identified by their black plastic handle and the "Schrade Walden NY" stamping on the blade. (the "NY" was added in 1946, from 1950 Schrade marked their knifes with "Schrade Walden NY USA".  So although not WW2, this type was used in the Korean and Vietnam wars by American paratroopers.
