Today we uploaded and update with loads of accessories for the MG34 and MG42 machine guns. Apart from the guns themselves, these allow the setup of a complete MG34 and MG42 heavy machine gun setup on the Lafette with optical sights, spare barrel containers etc. etc. The Lafettes are a complex piece of engineering, the machine gun attaches to a sprung inner frame that moves inside the outer frame to soak up the recoil. The elevation mechanism can be driven by the recoil to sligthly cycle the elevation up and down, increasing the beating zone of the gun. With the mounted optical sights, targets can be sighted directly for up to 3 km. It can also be used to set up and indirect firing trajectory, a table on the back of the aiming mechanism helps with the calculations to safely shoot over you own troops.
