A unique Dutch "Knokploeg Brabant No 61" resistance brassard. The "Knokploegen" (fighting gangs) were active throughout the Netherlands during the occupation. When the allies liberated the south of the Netherlands from september 1944 the "knokploeg" members in the liberated areas such as Brabant province identified themselves with these simple orange brassards. I have never been able to find out what the 'No 61' stands for...
