This is a US army BC-611 "Handy Talky" radio telephone with its rare Direction Finding accessories. The DF accessories allowed the user to pintpoint the direction of the received station and so help navigate difficult terrain. The set consists of a BC-611 radio converted with a bottom lid to connect the headset, a special antenna connection box mounted to the top of the radio, the foldable DF antenna and the headset. The BC-611 is a beautiful WW2 used example with most of the original stenciling intact while the DF equipment appears mint unissued. A very rare variation of the famous American "Handy-Talky"
